Travis Kelce looks like a new man this season. Perhaps that’s because he is one.
The 36-year-old NFL tight end strongly considered retirement over the offseason. However, the three-time Super Bowl winner opted to return, for at least one more season. Kelce could not be playing any better.
Kelce has 12 catches for 172 yards and a touchdown through two games. He’s running faster on routes than he has in recent years, too. Kelce looks as spry and versatile as he has in a long time.
Is that because he’s now a married man? Kelce married his fiancee, Taylor Swift, over the summer. The happy couple tied the knot in a ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Roughly 1,000 guests were in attendance.

Andy Reid believes that Swift should be getting some credit for how her husband is playing in his 14th NFL season.
The Kansas City Chiefs head coach told reporters that the singer “kicks him in the butt” and it’s paying off.
“Everybody questioned with the wedding and all of that — ‘would he be out of shape and honeymooning the whole time [in the offseason]?’ and all of that,” Reid said on Monday, per KSHB 41 News.
“But he really works his rear end off and I think Taylor, you’re putting on four-hour shows, you’ve got to work hard too. So I’m sure she kicks him in the butt a little there too.”
It’s tough to argue with that.
The Kansas City Chiefs are 2-0 through two games, looking like a legitimate Super Bowl contender.
Kansas City will be taking Miami on the road in Week 3.
