Amber Glenn has now completed her first Winter Olympics, bringing some hardware back home to the United States. The 26-year-old entered Milano Cortina 2026 as one of the most decorated figure skaters in the world, winning gold in the last three U.S. Championships, along with the 2023 and 2024 World Team Trophy.
Glenn began her journey in Milan by competing in the figure skating team event alongside many of her fellow Team USA stars, including Alysa Liu, Ilia Malinin, ice dancers Madison Chock and Evan Bates, and pair skaters Ellie Kam and Danny O'Shea. Performing in the final, Glenn added eight points to the USA's 69-point total, helping her country win gold and earning her first Olympic medal.

But Glenn wasn’t finished there, competing in the women’s singles event alongside teammates Liu and Isabeau Levito. While Glenn did not win a medal, finishing fifth with a final score of 214.91, she watched as Liu scored 226.79 to secure her second gold medal of the 2026 Milan Games. Levito, meanwhile, finished 12th with 202.80.
While Glenn did not win a medal in the singles event, she still showed support after Liu won a second gold, celebrating alongside one of her good friends. Glenn also enjoyed the experience of winning gold alongside Liu and other Team USA members, calling them some of the “best people” and some of her “best friends.”
“Absolutely incredible," Glenn said on Thursday at the GLAAD Awards Red Carpet. "I got to do it with some of the best people and some of my best friends, which was such a great experience... We all held hands and jumped onto the podium at once. It was so, so, so cool. And the other countries were such great competitors and they were great sportsmen, so it was just an overall great experience.”
Glenn and Liu are expected to be back on the ice for the 2026 iSU World Championships in Prague, which begins March 24.
