Aliyah Boston stepped up in a big way for the Indiana Fever in her return from a leg injury on Thursday, recording 21 points, nine rebounds, one steal and one block against the Phoenix Mercury.
Kelsey Mitchell and Ty Harris also had sensational performances, with the former exploding for 29 points, eight assists and three steals. Harris, for her part, scored nine of her 15 points in the fourth quarter.
However, there was one other player who had a big role in the 92-89 win despite not filling up the stat sheet: Makayla Timpson.
Timpson undoubtedly had the biggest play of the game when she blocked Kahleah Copper with 4:36 remaining in the fourth quarter while the Mercury were ahead 79-72. The clutch rejection sparked a massive turnaround for the Fever, as they went on an 8-0 run immediately after that play.

Boston herself couldn't help but be amazed by Timpson's play after the Fever shared a video showing various angles of the block.
"INSANEEEE," Boston wrote, along with several face-with-spiral-eyes emojis.
For what it's worth, Boston was not the only one who expressed disbelief over Timpson's block. Caitlin Clark also shared the Fever's video and could only say, "My goodness."
Sophie Cunningham also admitted that she had never seen anything like Timpson's rejection in the WNBA and said it was "just filthy."
Fever head coach Stephanie White, meanwhile, said in her postgame press conference that Timpson's play gave the Fever some "juice" as they staged their comeback.
