Aliyah Boston has spent all four of her WNBA seasons with the Indiana Fever, who selected her No. 1 overall in the 2023 WNBA Draft. She immediately lived up to the billing, winning Rookie of the Year unanimously and earning All-Rookie honors. Boston has since become a three-time All-Star and was named to the All-WNBA Second Team in 2025.
Boston is having another productive season in 2026, averaging 17.0 points, 8.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.2 blocks while shooting 52.4% from the field and a career-best 41.7% from 3-point range. She has remained one of Indiana’s most important players alongside Caitlin Clark, ranking third on the team in scoring while leading the Fever in rebounds, steals and blocks.

Boston and the Fever return to the floor Friday at home against the Connecticut Sun. But as the 2026 season gradually draws to a close, the Fever star is already making plans for the offseason.
On Friday, Unrivaled announced that Boston has signed a multi-year deal to return to the 3-on-3 league. Boston will return to Phantom BC, the team she helped lead to the 2026 championship game before an injury forced her to miss the playoffs.
Boston was outstanding during her second Unrivaled season, averaging 18.9 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.1 blocks in 14 games. She was named Defensive Player of the Year and earned All-Unrivaled Second Team honors, helping Phantom secure the No. 1 seed before suffering a right lower-extremity injury in the team’s final regular-season game.
The injury kept Boston out of Phantom’s postseason run, but the team still reached the finals before losing to Mist BC. Boston’s return gives her another opportunity to compete in the league while continuing her WNBA career under a historic contract. In April, she signed a four-year, $6.3 million extension with Indiana through 2029, becoming the first player to sign a deal under the WNBA’s new Exceptional Performance on Initial Contract (EPIC) provision.
Unrivaled, founded by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, is a professional 3-on-3 women’s basketball league created to give elite players another high-level playing option during the WNBA offseason. The league has also featured several Fever players, including Kelsey Mitchell and Lexie Hull, while Makayla Timpson participated in its development pool.
