Aliyah Boston and the Indiana Fever looked to improve to 21-12 on the 2026 WNBA season on Tuesday night, returning home to face Sabrina Ionescu and the New York Liberty. The Fever had two days off from their last game against the Chicago Sky on Saturday, a dramatic 90-86 win that saw Sky guard DiJonai Carrington get ejected.
With 1:06 remaining in the third quarter of Fever vs. Sky, Caitlin Clark attempted to drive on Chicago guard Natasha Allen, who was playing solid defense. As the former Iowa star got near the baseline, she attempted to draw a foul, but the official did not blow the whistle.
Clark, walking away from the official, appeared to say something, which resulted in a technical foul, her eighth of the season.

In the WNBA, not only does a player receive $1,500 for their eighth technical foul and beyond, but they are also handed a one-game suspension. Every other tech after the eighth (10, 12, 14, etc...) will result in a one-game suspension as well.
Fortunately for Clark, the WNBA rescinded her eighth technical foul, overturning the suspension and allowing the Fever star to play against New York. The league also acted quickly, with reports of the rescinded technical foul emerging less than two hours after Saturday's win.
But on Tuesday, in an episode of "Post Movies with Candace Parker & Aliyah Boston, the Indiana forward shared that it took the WNBA just an hour to rescind Clark's tech.
"It was like an hour after the game," Boston shared to Parker.

Boston and the Fever will end a two-game homestand on Friday against the Dallas Wings, before hitting the road to face the Atlanta Dream on Sunday.
