Aliyah Boston did not play in Sunday’s game between the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky due to a right lower leg injury. However, she joined the team on the sidelines and cheered for Caitlin Clark and the rest of her teammates.
The Fever went on to blow out the Sky by 23 points, 113-90. Clark was sensational in the win, as she finished with a game-high 37 points on 13-of-24 shooting. She also dished out 10 assists, making history with her fifth 30-point, 10-assist game. The rest of the WNBA only has four such performances.
Furthermore, Clark set a new career high in the victory, as she connected eight triples on 12 attempts from deep. Her previous personal record was seven, which she had accomplished three times before.

Boston, for her part, couldn’t help but be hyped up over Clark’s performance. After the Fever posted about the All-Star guard’s career-high eight 3-pointers, she was quick to share it on social media and celebrate.
“splashhhhhh babyyyy,” Boston wrote.
It was certainly a game to remember for Clark, especially since it snapped a two-game skid for Indiana and put the team back in contention for a top four spot in the standings. The Fever are only one and a half games behind the No. 2 Golden State Valkyries and just one behind the No. 3 Las Vegas Aces.
The Fever have five games left in the season. If Clark can replicate her latest performance in their upcoming games, it’s not hard to imagine Indiana competing for a higher seed in the playoffs.
