The Indiana Fever may have lost rookie Justine Pissott, but Aliyah Boston is happy to see her former teammate thrive following her departure from the squad.
Pissott left the Fever on July 7 after the Las Vegas Aces offered her a rest-of-season contract. While Indiana could have matched the offer she received, the team opted not to do so since it would have required waiving a player from their current roster.
Pissott was on a player development contract with the Fever after being selected 25th overall in the 2026 WNBA Draft. However, she never appeared in a regular-season game for the team before she left for Las Vegas.
In a historic turn, Pissott made waves in her debut for the Aces against the Phoenix Mercury on Saturday. She entered the game in the fourth quarter and exploded for 19 points on 5-of-6 shooting from deep in just 10 minutes.
Pissott made history by recording the most triples in a player's debut game.

Now, during the latest episode of Boston's "Post Moves" podcast with WNBA legend Candace Parker, the topic of Pissott's remarkable debut came up. As Parker mentioned what Pissott did, Boston couldn't help but get hyped up.
"Good for that girl. Justine. Justine. Justine," Boston exclaimed.
For what it's worth, the Fever received backlash following Pissott's big game, with many criticizing them for never giving the talented rookie a chance to show what she can do.
While it's certainly disappointing that a different team is benefiting from Pissott's talents, Boston remains supportive of her former teammate.
