Mauricio Pochettino has been linked to a return to the Premier League, specifically linked to returning to his former club, Tottenham Hotspur.
The English club sacked Thomas Frank, and Pochettino is one of the biggest names linked to coaching the team in the future. Tottenham hired Igor Tudor as the interim manager for the rest of the season as the club looks for a permanent manager for next season.
Pochettino is rumored to be one of the options Spurs are looking for next season. During the week, a clip of Pochettino in the High Performance Podcast was hopeful of winning the Premier League title, which has caused multiple reactions.
With Pochettino admitting that he aims to win the Premier League in the future, USMNT legend Alexi Lalas has given his thoughts on the current manager of the national team.

In the High Performance Podcast, Pochettino praised winning the World Cup as a dream, but his ultimate aim is the Premier League or the Champions League, which did not amuse Alexi Lalas.
Alexi Lalas on Mauricio Pochettino's Comments
Alexi Lalas was not a fan of Pochettino's comments towards prioritizing the Champions League and the Premier League over the World Cup, especially since he is the current USMNT head coach.
On Alexi Lalas’ State of the Union Podcast, Lalas calls out Pochettino for telling Tim Weah to focus on one thing, and asks the head coach to focus on one thing as well, the World Cup this summer.
Alexi Lalas said, "Under his breath, he said, 'Of course the World Cup,' well, no, that should be your answer at this point. This also comes on the heels of Mauricio Pochettino very publicly castigating Tim Weah and saying, 'You should be focused on one thing and one thing only.' Alright, well, the same should apply to Maruicio Pochettino."
The former USMNT defender continued and said, "The only thing that should matter and the most important thing in your life should be doing well in the World Cup... This looks naive."
