For the sixth straight season under head coach Nate Oats, the Alabama Crimson Tide earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament. They entered as the Midwest Region's No. 4 seed and advanced all the way to the Sweet 16. However, their run ended there, losing to the No. 1 Michigan Wolverines 90-77.
However, their deep run and going 25-10 gave the Crimson Tide a reason to celebrate. Quickly into the offseason, though, the transfer portal departures piled up. The window was open from April 7 to April 21, and Alabama lost a total of four players. Among that group was forward Taylor Bol Bowen.

Bol Bowen wrapped up his first season with the Crimson Tide after transferring from the Florida State Seminoles. He appeared in 30 games and made 11 starts while averaging 6.3 points, 4.2 rebounds and 0.5 assists. He also shot 41.2% from the field and 30.2% from the three-point line.
However, with one more year of eligibility, he is once again looking for a new team. As the No. 133 player and No. 39 player to enter the transfer portal, per On3 Industry Rankings, he's an intriguing option for many teams.
While movement continues to heat up, Bol Bowen may be close to a decision. On3's senior national recruiting analyst, Jamie Shaw, predicts the forward will commit to the Oregon Ducks.
It would be a big addition for the Ducks, who went just 12-20 last year and struggled to replenish the eight players they have lost to the portal. So far, they have only landed four commitments, putting them at a deficit.
While Bol Bowen officially moving on would sting for Alabama, Oats and his staff have already found several potential replacements. Among the Crimson Tide's four additions are Jamarion Davis-Fleming (Mississippi State Bulldogs) and Brandon Garrison (Kentucky Wildcats), who are each listed as power forwards.
