The Air Jordan 4 'Birds of Paradise' official images are here, and while not a completely different sneaker from the one we've seen in the mock-ups, there are some notable color blocking and design differences. Let's talk sneakers.

Where Can You Buy the Air Jordan 4 'Birds of Paradise'?
July 23 through Nike SNKRS and select Jordan retailers, including Foot Locker, Finish Line, DSG and Hibbett. The date moved from July 10, so anyone working off an older calendar is two weeks early.
Women's sizing only. That has been the sticking point on this one since May.
What Changed From the Mock-Ups?
There are times when the mock-ups are better than the official images. This isn't one of those times. The official images made this women's exclusive even better, and with the drop coming up in days, that's a good thing.
The speculative renders built off the color list gave you a beige shoe with gold and pink hits. Sneaker News went as far as calling them a reminder to be wary of mockups entirely.
What Makes This Retro Stand Out?
The outsole. It runs a gradient from Bright Mango at the forefoot through Sundial at the midfoot to deep navy at the heel, meant to read as the plant slowly blooming.
Above it, the build is quiet. Pebbled leather upper, suede on the toe, tongue label and backtab, semi-translucent wings and eyestays, and a Metallic Gold Jumpman on the heel.
Should You Buy the Air Jordan 4 'Birds of Paradise' (2026)?
If you can fit women's sizing, yes. This is a better executed non-OG 4 than the Musik or the J. Balvin Lemonade, and the packaging is a floral Jordan Flight box.
If the neutral upper reads plain to you, the Sashiko is the louder option. This one saves everything for the bottom.
