I've never been to Berlin, but the Air Jordan 4 'Berlin' makes me want to find out what the city is all about. This upcoming release could be one of the most attractive, wearable and somewhat unique colorways to bless the iconic silhouette in a while. Quite honestly, I like everything about this one. Let's talk sneakers.

Where Can You Buy the Air Jordan 4 'Berlin'?
There is no buying it yet, as the AJ4 "Berlin" (JA9635-001) is only expected in Spring 2027, per Sneakerfiles, with the price still unconfirmed. Early reports peg it as a Berlin-only City Series drop at select Jordan Brand retailers including Nike, which means most U.S. buyers will likely be looking at resale or a trip abroad, much like other hard-to-find pairs such as the Black Friday 'Bred'.
What Makes the Air Jordan 4 'Berlin' Stand Out?
Per the first mockups, the "Berlin" is a blacked-out AJ4 in Black and Cave Stone, leaning on premium materials rather than bold color, with pony-hair fur wrapping the mudguard and toe. That texture-over-color approach puts it in the same lane as material-driven 4s like the A Ma Manière 'Violet Ore' and the all-business black nubuck of the 'Thunder'.

Why Does the Berlin Theme Matter?
The whole concept is tied to Berlin's coat of arms, which features a black bear, hence the fur detailing, while concentric-circle panels replace the usual mesh as a nod to the city's music and nightlife. Nike Air branding on the heel rounds out a City Series entry that follows the AJ4 "London" and trades team colors for local storytelling.

Should You Buy the Air Jordan 4 'Berlin' (2027)?
If the mockups hold up, this is one of the more wearable and distinctive blacked-out 4s on the horizon, and the bear-inspired story gives it staying power beyond the initial hype. The catch is access, since a Berlin-exclusive, limited run means securing a pair at retail could be tougher than simply deciding you like the shoe.
