We've seen quite a few Air Jordan sneakers with a colorway that is inspired by an NBA team. The Air Jordan 10 "Bobcats" is not only styled after the now-defunct Charlotte Bobcats colorways; that's also the team Jordan became part owner of after his stint with the Washington Wizards. The colors sing and work perfectly with the Air Jordan 10 silhouette. Let's talk sneakers.

Where Can You Buy the Air Jordan 10 "Bobcats"
Jordan Brand has not announced a return, so this is a resale pickup. StockX, GOAT, Flight Club and eBay carry pairs against a $170 retail from 2014. Condition matters more here than on most retros, since the translucent outsole yellows with age and separates stored pairs from worn ones sharply in price.
What Makes This Retro Stand Out
Wolf grey tumbled leather covers the upper, with dark powder blue and new slate running through the midsole and tongue. Atomic orange fills the accolade panels on the outsole and lines the interior, and the laces come in powder blue. The outsole runs icy translucent, which is what puts the accolade text on display and also what guarantees the yellowing.
Why Does It Still Matter
The Charlotte Bobcats existed as an NBA identity from 2004 to 2014. This released in January of that final season, and by May the franchise had reclaimed the Hornets name for good. That makes it the only Air Jordan ever built in those colors, and every Charlotte release since has run teal and purple. The Air Jordan 10 carries the point better than most silhouettes would, given Tinker Hatfield designed it in 1994 to mark Jordan's first retirement and printed his accolades across the bottom.
Should You Buy the Air Jordan 10 "Bobcats" (2014)?
If you see a Bobcats sneaker and you immediately think about Stephen Jackson, Gerald Wallace, Emeka Okafor and Kemba Walker, the colorway did its job.
Resale has stayed accessible relative to the Air Jordan 10's OG colorways, which makes this a cheap way into a shoe carrying a piece of league history that cannot be repeated.
