Aaron Rodgers is publicly calling out ESPN for its coverage of the Dianna Russini, Mike Vrabel scandal, while appearing on "The Pat McAfee Show" on Monday.
The 42-year-old NFL quarterback, who is entering his final NFL season, appeared live on ESPN's airwaves on Monday. First, he called out Dr. Fauci, accusing the face of the COVID-19 pandemic of being a "coward." Later, he called out ESPN.
Rodgers took issue with ESPN's lack of in-depth coverage on the Russini, Vrabel scandal. Russini resigned from her position at The Athletic and Vrabel admitting to going to counseling after several photos and videos leaked of their time together, socially and perhaps romantically.
“This media frenzy is hurtling forward without regard for the review process The Athletic is trying to complete. It continues to escalate, fueled by repeated leaks, and I have no interest in submitting to a public inquiry that has already caused far more damage than I am willing to accept,” Russini said in her resignation letter. “Rather than allowing this to continue, I have decided to step aside now — before my current contract expires on June 30. I do so not because I accept the narrative that has been constructed around this episode, but because I refuse to lend it further oxygen or to let it define me or my career.”

Russini has been pretty quiet since, outside of some brief words.
“This has had a significant impact on my life, both professionally and personally,” Russini told the New York Times.
Meanwhile, prominent NFL insiders and reporters like Adam Schefter, Ian Rapoport, etc. have been fairly quiet about the scandal, too. Fans have criticized them for not digging into the scandal the same way they would a player or coach scandal. Many believe that Russini's colleagues in the NFL media space are doing her a favor by not going after her.
Rodgers appears to be in that line of thinking, too.

Rodgers called out ESPN, accusing the network of trying to hide the scandal.
"And there was another scandal this offseason too, involving a voter for MVP and Coach of the Year. How much time did your network spend on that?"
Coincidentally, Rodgers called out ESPN while appearing on ESPN, which is both good for the network's ratings and perhaps bad for their public perception.
