If the Steelers win a Super Bowl this year, they're going to owe Aaron Rodgers' wife a big "thank you" - if they ever figure out who she is.
Speaking to the media this week, Rodgers revealed that he thought 2025 would be his final season in the NFL after the frustrating way in which things ended for him and the Steelers. But he credited his wife for changing his mind, telling him he can do one more year.
“I thought last year might be it,” Rodgers said. “And then Mike got hired, and I talked to the wife, and she said, ‘You can do one more year.’ So, I said, ‘We’ll see if it works out.’ And then it kind of all came together.”
Rodgers and His Wife
Rodgers has kept the identity of his wife a well-guarded secret, refusing to even give fans or reporters so much as a first name, let alone anything people can use to track her down.
Whoever she is though, she must be very influential on Rodgers' wife if she can convince a man halfway through the retirement door to step back into the game of football - at the age of 42 no less.

At 42 years of age, Rodgers is the oldest player in the NFL and the oldest QB by a good margin. He’s already played into an older age than his predecessor Brett Favre or some of his contemporaries like Ben Roethlisberger, Eli Manning, Philip Rivers and Matt Ryan.
But Rodgers hasn’t been fading into obscurity. Just last year he had a renaissance season, completing over 65-percent of his passes for 3,322 yards and 24 touchdowns while leading the Steelers to the playoffs.
Perhaps reuniting with McCarthy will give Rodgers just a little bit more fuel to get over the hump and into one more Super Bowl before he truly hangs up the cleats for good.
