Aaron Rodgers returned to the Pittsburgh Steelers for the 2026 season, signing a one-year deal that is reportedly worth up to $25 million. However, it’s worth noting that he’s calling it a career following the campaign.
Rodgers has said that there is “zero debate” that 2026, which is his 22nd season in the league, will be his final year.
That being said, there are naturally plenty of eyes on Rodgers, as fans await to see how far he can take the Steelers and how he’ll bring his legendary career to an end.
As interest in Rodgers remains high, every post about him tends to garner plenty of reactions. That is the case once again when the NFL shared a post on Instagram showing the four-time NFL MVP’s change in appearance over the years.

Rodgers arrived in the NFL as a 22-year-old when he was selected 24th overall in the 2005 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers. Now, he’s in his age-43 season.
“Season 1 ➡️ The Finale,” the NFL wrote, along with photos of Rodgers headshots starting from his rookie season up to his latest one with the Steelers.
“He gotta go back to that 2008 look one last time,” a commenter wrote, referring to his long hairstyle during that year. Another one wondered, “So he really grew 2008 hair in a full year. How.”
Others couldn’t help but notice that he looked like actor and comedian Steve Carell in 2020.
“2020 looks like Steve carrell,” a fan wrote. A poster echoed a similar sentiment, saying, “He got replaced with Steve carrell in 2020.”
A follower stated, “2020 and 2008 were the best.”
Meanwhile, others simply commented on his changes over the years and their observations about his looks.
“Full beard Rodgers best qb to ever touch a football field,” a poster added.
A social media user noted, “2014 is when you can see the stress kicking in.”
