Los Angeles Rams legend Aaron Donald has added more fuel to the fire of his possible return to the team with his latest social media activity.
The former Rams defensive tackle continues to tease his return to the league, commenting on a recent Instagram post about a potential comeback.
Donald caught wind of an intriguing post on ClutchPoints NFL, which discussed a possible tandem with newly acquired Rams star Myles Garrett.
The 10-time Pro Bowler jumped on the comments section with a cryptic emoji.
“👀,” Donald posted.
The Instagram post also talked about how Garrett’s arrival on the team via the blockbuster trade with the Cleveland Browns has potentially renewed Donald’s fire to compete and possibly win another Super Bowl.
Donald retired in 2023 after 10 seasons with Los Angeles, where he built a legendary career with three NFL Defensive Player of the Year awards, one Super Bowl, eight First-Team All-Pro selections, and selection to the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team.
He also racked up career numbers of 111.0 sacks, 340 solo tackles, 246 tackles for loss, seven forced fumbles and seven fumble recoveries in 154 games.
More clues to possible Aaron Donald NFL comeback emerge
Just last week, Donald even provided another piece to the puzzle of his return to the field with a workout video he posted.
This added excitement among fans, though some argue that it’s just another regular workout video because he’s always in shape. But the timing of this video’s release was at the height of the rumors surrounding his supposed return to the field.
With the potential trio of Donald, Garrett and Matthew Stafford leading the Rams, the landscape of the league could shift dramatically. They will aim to eclipse their Divisional Round exit last season, when the Seattle Seahawks handed them a 31-27 loss in the NFC Championship Game.
