There's been a ton of buzz this offseason involving future Hall of Fame defensive lineman Aaron Donald and the Los Angeles Rams.
Donald had an incredible run with the Rams from 2014-2023, racking up 543 tackles, 260 QB hits, 111 sacks and 24 forced fumbles. Although he retired with a Super Bowl ring, he's flirted with the idea of winning another title.
After the Rams landed Myles Garrett in a trade with the Cleveland Browns, Donald said he's interested in returning to the NFL. His former coach, Sean McVay, is more than willing to bring him back.
“Here’s what I would tell you guys overall, too: Aaron is a guy that I stay really close in touch with, and I know the respect that he has for Myles,” McVay said, Pro Football Talk. “Talked to him about the opportunity to bring [Garrett] on board. If Aaron decides he wants to dust ‘em off at the age of 35, I bet you he can still do it at a pretty high clip.”

Is Donald serious about coming back though? Judging by his recent activity, we'd say he's open to lacing up his cleats again.
On Friday night, TMZ released footage of Donald working out at the Rams' facility. That's a pretty strong indicator that he's at least considering a return to the NFL.
What does Aaron Donald have to offer?
Former Rams star Andrew Whitworth believes Donald still has a lot to offer at the age of 35.
"It’s going to be a huge impact, I think we all know that. I think one of the big things, too, it’s not just his play but the way this guy goes about his business. I got a chance to be around him a little bit this offseason, and he’s going to be another one of these guys, I think of when AD was there, I think of some of the veterans that have been there that I’ve been around that have really had an impact on the locker room," Whitworth said, via Turf Show Times. "There’s going to be a lot of young guys who can follow him and really the day-by-day consistency he goes by chasing his craft to be excellent at it"
The Rams will begin their season on Sept. 10 against the San Francisco 49ers. We'll see if Donald suits up for that NFC West showdown.
