Aaron Donald's name has continued to come up throughout the NFL offseason as speculation grows about a possible return to football. The former Los Angeles Rams star retired after the 2024 season, but the conversation around him has hardly slowed down.
Donald walked away from the game after putting together one of the most accomplished careers by a defensive player in NFL history.
The 13th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, he finished his career with 111 sacks, 543 tackles, 24 forced fumbles, 10 Pro Bowl selections, three Defensive Player of the Year awards, eight First Team All-Pro honors and a spot on the NFL's All-2010s Team.

While questions about a return have remained in the background, Donald appears to be making another move away from the field.
According to Front Office Sports' Ryan Glasspiegel, Donald has signed with Jon Rosen's management team at Envisionary as he looks to expand his business interests and media presence.
“Donald has signed with Jon Rosen’s management team at Envisionary to grow his businesses, brand partnerships, and overall profile in the media and entertainment industries, Rosen confirmed.” FOS reported. “Donald is also in the process of developing a docuseries, one source said.”
Donald said his retirement decision was driven by the physical toll of football and his desire to spend more time with his family. Since then, he has focused on building his business portfolio rather than pursuing another NFL opportunity.
Envisionary has worked with several athletes and media personalities, and CEO Jon Rosen has spent more than 30 years helping clients secure major opportunities across television, sports media and entertainment.
For now, Donald remains retired, and for now, his latest career decision points toward media and business ventures rather than a return to the NFL.
