Complex's Mike DeStefano listed 25 of the best throwback jerseys in American sports. He listed jerseys from teams across different leagues and eras, mentioning various reasons for their inclusion.
DeStefano listed the Raptors' classic purple jersey from their debut NBA season as the best-looking throwback jersey, claiming that it doesn't make sense to name any other jersey in this spot.
