6 Teens In 'Horrific' Deadly U.S. Highway Crashes Sunday

A total of six teenagers were involved in horrific deadly U.S. highway crashes on Sunday.

A deadly crash took place in Chicago while another one happened in Connecticut.

In Pennsylvania, four teenagers were involved in a deadly U.S. highway crash. One teenager was killed while three others were injured. The crash took place when a truck struck a concrete barrier near U.S. 422 and State Route 202 in Upper Merion Township.

The car that was being driven had reportedly been stolen.

"Police say the 18-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene," the report states.

Three passengers were hospitalized.

Later, in Connecticut, two teenagers were killed on a crash on I-84 near the Waterbury and Cheshire line early Sunday morning.

"The victims were identified as Abdriel Negron. 16, of Waterbury and Sheily Briceno, 18, of Hartford," the report states.

"According to state police, Negron was driving and Briceno was his passenger. The crash happened around 8 a.m. on Interstate 84 westbound between exits 26 and 25A."
