Logan Paul has fired up the NFL world with his confidence in his own athletic ability.

His beef with the NFL likely stems from comments made by seven-time Super Bowl champion and former star quarterback, Tom Brady. When appearing on Paul's "Impulsive" podcast ahead of this year's Super Bowl, Paul discussed Brady's upcoming Flag Football Classic, which takes place later this month.

As the YouTuber/WWE star discussed the game, Brady said he was "worried" for Paul, whom he called a "good athlete," but admitted the other players participating, such as Jayden Daniels, Saquon Barkley, CeeDee Lamb and Christian McCaffrey, are "on another level.

Brady later called WWE cute, which also didn't ease tensions.

Paul has since had a vendetta against NFL players and even issued a challenge to players in the league on a recent episode of "Impaulsive."

"I would throttle Myles Garrett," Paul said. "Myles Garrett, I will bet you a million...It could be any name, but any football player. Myles Garrett, Puka Nacua, Tom Brady, Gronk (Rob Gronkowski)...Sam Darnold. Doesn't matter. A million dollars, you come to the gym, we put on boxing gloves, we see how it goes."

Paul has a professional boxing record of 0-1, with fellow YouTuber KSI handing him his lone loss. He did have exhibition fights against Floyd Mayweather and Dillon Danis, but those ended in a "draw" and unsportsmanlike conduct.

So, with Paul ready to take on some of the best athletes in the NFL, here are the six that would be the most entertaining to see him fight.

Floyd Mayweather (R) punches Logan Paul during their contracted exhibition boxing match at Hard Rock Stadium on June 06, 2021 in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Myles Garrett, DE, Browns

We already know Myles Garrett is the most prolific pass rusher in NFL history, as he posted a league record 23 sacks this past season, but he is one of the most athletic players in the league. Garrett has flashed his mobility and athleticism in a celebrity basketball game, and has also shown off an array of different dunks online.

At 6-foot-4 and 272 pounds, he has a couple of inches and nearly 70 pounds on the 6-foot-2, 205-pound Paul. That said, Paul specifically stated he'd throttle Garrett. So, it only seems fitting to pit the two up against one another. In this case, we hope it works out better for Paul than it did for Mason Rudolph.

Maxx Crosby, DE, Las Vegas Raiders

Another notorious pass rusher in the NFL, known for being one of the league's tough guys, Las Vegas Raiders pass rusher Maxx Crosby immediately came to mind. He went viral in 2023 for sparring with UFC fighter Sean Strickland, which gives him some sort of foundation to work with.

Again, Paul would be severely undersized in this bout, as Crosby stands in at 6-foot-5 and 255 pounds, but it'd be a tough look for Paul to issue the challenge and say it doesn't matter then back out when someone is too big.

Jalen Ramsey, DB, Pittsburgh Steelers

Although he is no longer in the prime of his career at age 31, Jalen Ramsey has never shied away from throwing some punches. Also, aside from linemen who are simply bigger than most people and willing to fight anyone, what position in sports is more ignorantly confident in their abilities than an NFL corner? Ramsey has gotten into scuffles with AJ Green, Ja'Marr Chase, Garrett Wilson and most notably Golden Tate.

He is also more on par with Paul's size, as he stands one inch shorter, but a few pounds heavier.

Diego Pavia, QB, 2026 NFL Draft Hopeful

I really didn't want to include someone who isn't even in the NFL yet, but Diego Pavia was too difficult to overlook. With the arrogance of a defensive back, he also has an impressive combat background. Pavia was a state champion wrestler who even earned an offer to wrestle at Nebraska. Despite being the lone player on this list smaller than Paul, Pavia has a tenacity to him that makes him hard to bet against.

While boxing doesn't allow for wrestling, he did suplex an Auburn player in a game one time.

If you have followed how the Paul brothers operate when they box, they target people with limited boxing experience, such as former NBA player Nate Robinson, or they go after aging fighters like Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley and Mike Tyson. So, any player with the slightest experience in combat is a plus.

Jabrill Peppers, DB, Pittsburgh Steelers

For this spot, it was down to DK Metcalf and his teammate Jabrill Peppers. While Metcalf is known for being a hot-head who frequently gets into it with people, Peppers seems to offer a more fair size matchup at 5-foot-11 and 213 pounds. The former Michigan star also trained in boxing back in 2023 to help him "desensitize his eyes" according to a CBS Sports report.

Dion Dawkins, OL, Buffalo Bills

Continuing the theme of NFL players who have trained in combat sports, Dion Dawkins would be a fascinating candidate. The four-time Pro Bowl selection technically accepted Paul's challenge, and has trained in both boxing and UFC.

If you thought Garrett and Crosby were way out of Paul's weightclass, Dawkins is in another stratosphere. He stands at 6-foot-5, but at 320 pounds, he weighs 115 pounds more than Paul.

It's unlikely any of these will come to fruition with these guys under contract, but it'd be a fun watch nonetheless.
