NBA free agency begins Tuesday night and one player who continues to draw interest from teams around the league is Rui Hachimura.
Of course, Hachimura was the ninth overall pick in the 2019 draft by the Washington Wizards and he has spent the last four seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers.

During his time in Los Angeles, Hachimura has turned into a key role player who is a reliable scorer and defender at the forward position, which many teams around the NBA are in need of.
Because of this, the 28-year-old forward is drawing interest from multiple teams heading into free agency and these three teams could be potential destinations for him.
San Antonio Spurs
The San Antonio Spurs are coming off a trip to the NBA Finals and they are looking to upgrade their roster around their core of Victor Wembanyama, Stephon Castle and Dylan Harper this offseason.

One area of need for the Spurs is at the forward position and according to The Stein Line’s Jake Fischer, they are showing interest in Hachimura.
Hachimura would provide San Antonio with a stretch four who could fit well alongside Wembanyama in the starting lineup on both ends of the court and could help them make a run at the NBA Finals once again next season.
Brooklyn Nets
Fischer also reported that the Brooklyn Nets are showing interest in Hachimura to potentially add another key piece to their young roster to try and make a run at a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference next season.

For the Nets, adding Hachimura alongside Michael Porter Jr. and Julius Randle, who they acquired from the Minnesota Timberwolves earlier this offseason, could give them a solid veteran core to pair alongside their abundance of young guards as they try to end their playoff drought.
Los Angeles Lakers
While Hachimura could move on from the Lakers this offseason, it would not be a surprise to see Los Angeles try to bring back one of their key pieces over the past handful of seasons.

Of course, Hachimura has played a larger role on both ends of the court for Los Angeles since he was acquired by the franchise in 2023 and they may elect to bring him back next season as they try to bolster their roster alongside Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves.
While these three teams could all be solid landing spots for Hachimura this summer, other teams may also show interest in the 28-year-old forward to upgrade their forward depth.
