NBA free agency begins Tuesday night and one of the top players on the market is superstar forward LeBron James.
Of course, there has been a lot of speculation on James’ future in the NBA heading into free agency as many around the league have questioned if he would re-sign with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Ahead of free agency Tuesday, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that James has informed the Lakers that they can move on without him as he plans on playing elsewhere next season.
With this massive report by Charania, it is clear that James is focused on finding a new home in free agency and these three teams could be potential fits for the future Hall of Famer.
Golden State Warriors
With James entering free agency, one team that continues to be linked to the star forward is the Golden State Warriors.

James has been linked to Golden State over the past handful of seasons as the Warriors try to add another star next to Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Jimmy Butler to compete for another championship.
It was reported Monday that Green opted out of his player option to potentially take a pay cut and allow the Warriors to pursue another star player and there have been multiple reports linking James to Golden State to potentially form a big four.
For James, he would provide Golden State with a reliable scorer and playmaker alongside the rest of their core that could help them compete for a championship next season once Butler returns from his torn ACL.
Cleveland Cavaliers
The Cleveland Cavaliers have also been linked to James this offseason as they could reunite with the superstar forward for potentially his final season in the NBA.

Of course, Cleveland selected James first overall in the 2003 draft and the 41-year-old forward helped lead the franchise to their first championship in 2016.
Now with the Cavaliers looking to upgrade their roster alongside Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen and potentially James Harden, adding James to their roster could allow them to compete for a top seed in the Eastern Conference and challenge for a title.
Miami Heat
The Miami Heat have already made one major move this offseason by pulling off a blockbuster trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo and they could also look to reunite with James in free agency to add to their core.

Of course, James played in Miami from 2010 to 2014, helping Miami win two championships, and by signing him in free agency to pair alongside Bam Adebayo, Giannis and Andrew Wiggins, the Heat could be a title contender once again next season.
While these three teams could all be solid fits for James in free agency, there will likely be other teams around the NBA to pursue the future Hall of Famer to add a star to their roster.
