The Chicago Bears enter Week 4 looking to build on their strong start to the season as they prepare to host the New York Jets at Soldier Field. Chicago has shown plenty of playmaking ability on defense and an effective rushing attack through the first three weeks.
With questions still surrounding the quarterback situation, the Bears could lean even more heavily on their defense and running game Sunday.
Here are three bold predictions for Chicago’s Week 4 matchup against the Jets.
Bears Force Five Turnovers

Chicago’s defense has averaged two takeaways per game through the first three weeks. The Jets, meanwhile, have taken care of the football, committing just one turnover all season. That changes Sunday, and it could change in a big way.
The Bears’ defense looks a little like the old Monsters of the Midway we’ve seen in Chicago before. The unit continues its hot streak and suffocates the Jets’ offense. If New York struggled against Green Bay at home, things could get ugly for the Jets in the Windy City.
Bears Rush for 175+ Yards

Chicago currently averages 184 rushing yards per game and will have its running back duo ready to roll Sunday. With a backup quarterback potentially taking the reins, the Bears are likely to lean heavily on the ground game throughout the afternoon.
The Jets allowed plenty of points in their first major test of the season last week against Detroit. Bears head coach Ben Johnson also knows how Aaron Glenn likes to operate on defense after working with him in Detroit.
That combination could create a favorable matchup for Chicago’s rushing attack.
Luther Burden III Scores Two Touchdowns

Burden is averaging five receptions per game through the first three weeks. He scored his first touchdown last week while catching seven passes on a season-high 11 targets. After a solid rookie campaign, Chicago fans are ready to see the former Missouri Tiger take another step forward.
Burden is going to find the end zone twice Sunday and continue to heat up as the season progresses. With his target volume increasing, the rookie could be in for another productive afternoon against the Jets.
